Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the population in Camden Council area in 2016 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a smaller proportion of people born overseas, as well as a smaller proportion of people from a non-English speaking background.

Overall, 17.6% of the population was born overseas, and 11.1% were from a non-English speaking background, compared with 36.7% and 29.3% respectively for Greater Sydney.
