Dominant groups

In 2011, there were 1,940 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Camden Council area, compared with 21,730 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Camden Council area in 2011, compared to Greater Sydney, shows that 6.8% used public transport, while 76.4% used a private vehicle, compared with 20.0% and 60.0% respectively in Greater Sydney.

The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of Camden Council area and Greater Sydney were:
