Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Spring Farm in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (700 males or 26.1%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (410 males or 15.3%)
  • Professionals (353 males or 13.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,463 males in total or 54.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Macarthur Region employed 23.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.2% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 14.3% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Spring Farm and Macarthur Region were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (26.1% compared to 23.1%)
