Analysis of the female service age groups of CAD West in 2021 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that there was a lower proportion of females in the younger age groups (0 to 17 years) as well as a lower proportion of females in the older age groups (60+ years).
Overall, 6.1% of the female population was aged between 0 and 17, and 8.1% were aged 60 years and over, compared with 7.2% and 21.9% respectively for the City of Adelaide.
The major differences between the female age structure of CAD West and the City of Adelaide were:
