Dominant groups
Analysis of the highest level of schooling attained by the male population in CAD West in 2021 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of males who had left school at an early level (Year 10 or less) and a lower proportion of males who completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Overall, 13.2% of the male population left school at Year 10 or below, and 68.8% went on to complete Year 12 or equivalent, compared with 9.3% and 74.8% respectively for the City of Adelaide.
The major differences between the level of schooling attained by the male population in CAD West and the City of Adelaide were:
