Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in South East Overlay in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (300 males or 17.8%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (187 males or 11.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (166 males or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 653 males in total or 38.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, CAD West employed 13.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 21.7% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 8.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of South East Overlay and CAD West were:
