Dominant groups

Analysis of the female five year age groups of CAD East in 2021 compared to South East Corner shows that there was a lower proportion of females in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of females in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 3.7% of the female population was aged between 0 and 15, and 10.4% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 8.1% and 24.3% respectively for South East Corner.

The major differences between the female age structure of CAD East and South East Corner were:
