Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lalor in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,466 people or 16.1%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,336 people or 14.7%)
  • Labourers (1,309 people or 14.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,111 people in total or 45.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Whittlesea employed 18.7% in Professionals; 14.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 10.1% in Labourers.
