Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Swan View in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (244 females or 21.0%)
  • Retail Trade (157 females or 13.5%)
  • Education and Training (149 females or 12.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 550 females in total or 47.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Parkerville - Stoneville - Hovea employed 17.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.2% in Retail Trade; and 16.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Swan View and Parkerville - Stoneville - Hovea were:
