Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Swan View in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (192 males or 15.3%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (119 males or 9.5%)
  • Manufacturing (114 males or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 425 males in total or 34.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Mount Helena employed 16.6% in Construction; 7.3% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 7.3% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Swan View and Mount Helena were:
