Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the Shire of Mundaring in 2021 compared to Greater Perth shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.6% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 18.3% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 20.4% and 14.8% respectively for Greater Perth.
