Text sizing and zoom

Instructions for resizing the font on the most common browsers are provided below:

Internet Explorer users

  • Click on 'View' on the menu bar
  • Select 'Text Size'
  • Select your desired option for text size
  • Alternatively, if you have a wheel mouse, hold down the CTRL key and use the wheel to interactively scale the font size
Mozilla Firefox users
  • Click on 'View' on the menu bar
  • Select Zoom then 'Zoom In' to increase size and use 'Zoom out' to decrease text size
  • Alternatively, if you have a wheel mouse, hold down the CTRL key and use the wheel to interactively scale the font size
  • Keyboard shortcuts of CTRL and - and CTRL and + are also available
Opera users
  • Click on 'Tools' on the top menu bar
  • Then select 'Preferences'
  • When the dialog appears, click on 'Fonts' in the left panel
  • Locate 'CSS font-family sans-serif' in the right-hand box. Specify the font size you require in the 'Minimum font size (pixels)' option. Select a larger minimum font size if you wish the text to be larger
