Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ulverstone Urban Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (735 people or 16.8%)
- Retail Trade (477 people or 10.9%)
- Construction (440 people or 10.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,652 people in total or 37.8% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Central Coast Council area employed 16.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Retail Trade; and 9.4% in Construction.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Ulverstone Urban Area and Central Coast Council area were:
