Dominant groups

Analysis of recent overseas arrivals of the City of Burnside in 2011 compared to Adelaide SD shows that there was a higher proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 22.3% of recent overseas arrivals were aged between 0 and 14, and 1.5% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.7% and 1.0% respectively for Adelaide SD.
