Dominant groups

Analysis of the highest level of schooling attained by the male population in Greater Darwin in 2021 compared to Regional WA shows that there was a lower proportion of males who had left school at an early level (Year 10 or less) and a higher proportion of males who completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Overall, 25.5% of the male population left school at Year 10 or below, and 52.4% went on to complete Year 12 or equivalent, compared with 37.5% and 38.1% respectively for Regional WA.

The major differences between the level of schooling attained by the male population in Greater Darwin and Regional WA were:
