Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Silverwater in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (144 people or 13.7%)
  • Retail Trade (100 people or 9.5%)
  • Construction (93 people or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 337 people in total or 32.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Parramatta employed 14.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.5% in Retail Trade; and 6.5% in Construction.
