Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Eastwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (319 people or 14.9%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (273 people or 12.8%)
  • Education and Training (185 people or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 777 people in total or 36.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Parramatta employed 14.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.1% in Education and Training.

The major difference between the jobs held by the population of Eastwood and the City of Parramatta was:
