Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Mornington Peninsula Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (9,364 females or 25.3%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (7,084 females or 19.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (6,672 females or 18.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 23,120 females in total or 62.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Red Hill - Red Hill South - Merricks North - Main Ridge - Arthurs Seat employed 32.9% in Professionals; 14.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 14.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
