An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in HMAS Cerberus in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Technicians and Trades Workers (444 people or 47.3%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (334 people or 35.6%)
- Professionals (65 people or 6.9%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 843 people in total or 89.8% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Bittern - Crib Point employed 21.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 13.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 13.5% in Professionals.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of HMAS Cerberus and Bittern - Crib Point were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (47.3% compared to 21.8%)
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (35.6% compared to 13.6%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Labourers (0.6% compared to 11.4%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (1.3% compared to 10.8%)
