Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Green Wedge in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (447 males or 21.4%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (223 males or 10.7%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (193 males or 9.3%)
In combination, these three industries employed 863 males in total or 41.4% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Red Hill Ward employed 17.6% in Construction; 4.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 8.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Green Wedge and Red Hill Ward were:
