Dominant groups

Analysis of female individual income levels in Tyabb Structure Plan in 2021 compared to Seawinds Ward shows that there was a lower proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 2.4% of the female population earned a high income, and 36.2% earned a low income, compared with 4.9% and 40.0% respectively for Seawinds Ward.

The major differences between Tyabb Structure Plan's female individual incomes and Seawinds Ward's female individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of females who earned $800 - $999 (11.0% compared to 8.1%)
  • A larger percentage of females who earned $1,250 - $1,499 (7.5% compared to 4.9%)
