Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Mornington in 2021 compared to Mornington Peninsula Shire shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.2% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 27.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.7% and 25.0% respectively for Mornington Peninsula Shire.
