Dominant groups
Analysis of the female five year age groups of Rosebud in 2021 compared to Interface Councils shows that there was a lower proportion of females in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of females in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 14.1% of the female population was aged between 0 and 15, and 30.0% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 21.3% and 13.4% respectively for Interface Councils.
The major differences between the female age structure of Rosebud and Interface Councils were:
- A larger percentage of females aged 75 to 79 (6.5% compared to 2.5%)
- A larger percentage of females aged 70 to 74 (7.3% compared to 3.6%)

From 2006 to 2021, Rosebud's female population increased by 1,668 people (28.8%). This represents an average annual population change of 1.7% per year over the period.
The largest changes in female age structure in this area between 2006 and 2021 were in the age groups:
- 70 to 74 (+168 females)
- 60 to 64 (+164 females)
- 50 to 54 (+162 females)
- 65 to 69 (+156 females)
