Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Mount Martha in 2021 compared to Mornington Peninsula Shire shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 20.8% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 21.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.7% and 25.0% respectively for Mornington Peninsula Shire.
