Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Mornington in 2021 compared to Balnarring - Balnarring Beach - Merricks - Merricks Beach - Somers shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.2% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 27.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.7% and 29.0% respectively for Balnarring - Balnarring Beach - Merricks - Merricks Beach - Somers.
