Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Hastings in 2021 compared to Tyabb shows that 86.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 6.2% did not, compared with 95.7% and 1.7% respectively in Tyabb.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 39.5% of the households owned one car; 32.3% owned two cars; and 15.1% owned three cars or more, compared with 23.0%; 40.8% and 31.8% respectively for Tyabb.
