Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Rosebud - Capel Sound - McCrae - Boneo - Fingal - Cape Schanck in 2021 compared to Red Hill Ward shows that 88.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 5.1% did not, compared with 92.2% and 0.9% respectively in Red Hill Ward.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 38.7% of the households owned one car; 34.2% owned two cars; and 15.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 25.4%; 41.9% and 24.9% respectively for Red Hill Ward.
