Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Briars Ward in 2021 compared to Mount Eliza shows that 93.1% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.5% did not, compared with 95.1% and 2.0% respectively in Mount Eliza.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 31.1% of the households owned one car; 41.9% owned two cars; and 20.2% owned three cars or more, compared with 21.7%; 46.3% and 27.2% respectively for Mount Eliza.
