Dominant groups
Analysis of the need for assistance of males in Mornington Peninsula Shire compared to Portsea - Sorrento - Blairgowrie shows that there was a higher proportion of males who reported needing assistance with core activities.
Overall, 5.4% of the male population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 3.9% for Portsea - Sorrento - Blairgowrie.
The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in Watson Ward and Portsea - Sorrento - Blairgowrie were:
