Analysis of the male service age groups of Clayton in 2021 compared to the City of Monash shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (0 to 17 years) as well as a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (60+ years).
Overall, 9.4% of the male population was aged between 0 and 17, and 10.8% were aged 60 years and over, compared with 19.6% and 21.0% respectively for the City of Monash.
