Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Chadstone in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,639 people or 32.5%)
  • Managers (679 people or 13.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (651 people or 12.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,969 people in total or 58.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 26.8% in Professionals; 13.8% in Managers; and 12.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
