Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Clayton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,255 females or 30.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (786 females or 19.3%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (568 females or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,609 females in total or 63.9% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Mulgrave employed 29.3% in Professionals; 13.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 21.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
