Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Clayton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (979 females or 24.0%)
  • Education and Training (540 females or 13.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (480 females or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,999 females in total or 49.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 20.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Education and Training; and 6.9% in Accommodation and Food Services.
