Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mulgrave in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (629 males or 12.5%)
  • Manufacturing (529 males or 10.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (522 males or 10.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,680 males in total or 33.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 10.4% in Construction; 8.1% in Manufacturing; and 12.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Mulgrave and the City of Monash were:
