Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Notting Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (146 females or 20.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (142 females or 19.5%)
  • Retail Trade (78 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 366 females in total or 50.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 13.8% in Education and Training; 20.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.9% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Notting Hill and the City of Monash were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (20.1% compared to 13.8%)
