Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of Hughesdale in 2021 compared to the City of Monash shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 16.5% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 12.6% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 16.2% and 16.3% respectively for the City of Monash.
The major differences between the male age structure of Hughesdale and the City of Monash were:
