Overall, 5.3% of the population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 6.4% for Oakleigh East - Huntingdale.
The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in Mount Waverley and Oakleigh East - Huntingdale were:
- A smaller percentage of persons aged 80 to 84 (27.8% compared to 51.2%)
