Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Joondalup in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (9,740 people or 12.3%)
- Construction (9,686 people or 12.3%)
- Education and Training (8,648 people or 10.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 28,074 people in total or 35.5% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Western Australia employed 11.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.8% in Construction; and 8.7% in Education and Training.
