Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Allawah in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (209 males or 13.1%)
  • Retail Trade (175 males or 11.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (157 males or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 541 males in total or 33.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Beverley Park - Ramsgate employed 8.1% in Accommodation and Food Services; 6.7% in Retail Trade; and 10.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
