Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 4,094 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Randwick City, compared with 21,192 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Randwick City in 2021, compared to Western Sydney (LGA), shows that 5.9% used public transport, while 29.3% used a private vehicle, compared with 5.0% and 43.4% respectively in Western Sydney (LGA).
