Dominant groups
Analysis of the housing tenure of households of Liverpool City in 2021 compared to Western Sydney (LGA) shows that there was a smaller proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a larger proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a similar proportion who were renters.
Overall, 21.8% of households owned their dwelling; 36.7% were purchasing, and 33.5% were renting, compared with 24.4%, 35.4% and 33.1% respectively for Western Sydney (LGA).
