Dominant groups

Analysis of the highest level of schooling attained by the male population in the City of Parramatta in 2021 compared to Bayside Council area shows that there was a lower proportion of males who had left school at an early level (Year 10 or less) and a higher proportion of males who completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Overall, 15.7% of the male population left school at Year 10 or below, and 73.8% went on to complete Year 12 or equivalent, compared with 20.8% and 67.2% respectively for Bayside Council area.

The major differences between the level of schooling attained by the male population in the City of Parramatta and Bayside Council area were:
