Dominant groups
Analysis of the qualifications of the population in North Sydney Council area in 2021 compared to the City of Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 76.2% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 17.2% had no qualifications, compared with 69.9% and 20.5% respectively for the City of Sydney.
The major differences between qualifications held by the population of North Sydney Council area and the City of Sydney were:
