Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Penrith City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (12,274 males or 23.1%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (9,719 males or 18.3%)
  • Managers (6,838 males or 12.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 28,831 males in total or 54.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Liverpool City employed 19.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.5% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 13.2% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Penrith City and Liverpool City were:
