Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lyndhurst in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (694 people or 15.4%)
  • Manufacturing (515 people or 11.5%)
  • Retail Trade (408 people or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,617 people in total or 36.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Casey Foothills employed 11.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.5% in Manufacturing; and 11.4% in Retail Trade.
