The size of Cranbourne East's female labour force in 2021 was 5,476, of which 2,355 were employed part-time and 2,372 were full time workers.
Analysis of the female employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Cranbourne East in 2021 compared to Berwick (Township-Beaconsfield) shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.5% of the female labour force was employed, and 6.5% unemployed, compared with 95.7% and 4.3% respectively for Berwick (Township-Beaconsfield).
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the female population in Cranbourne East in 2021 shows that there was a higher proportion in the labour force (58.6%) compared with Berwick (Township-Beaconsfield) (56.0%).
