The size of the City of Canning's female labour force in 2021 was 23,799 persons, of which 11,222 were employed part-time and 9,906 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of female (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Canning in 2021 compared to City of Canning - Total population shows that there was a similar proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.9% of the female labour force was employed, and 2.3% unemployed, compared with 94.1% and 2.8% respectively for City of Canning - Total population.
