Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Glen Alpine in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (292 females or 28.1%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (271 females or 26.1%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (157 females or 15.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 720 females in total or 69.2% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Airds employed 14.6% in Professionals; 14.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 24.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
