Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Kearns in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (161 people or 11.7%)
  • Retail Trade (150 people or 10.9%)
  • Construction (149 people or 10.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 460 people in total or 33.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Glenfield - Bardia employed 19.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.5% in Retail Trade; and 5.2% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Kearns and Glenfield - Bardia were:
