Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Minto in 2021 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- Australian (2,499 people or 17.9%)
- English (2,234 people or 16.0%)
- Bengali/Bangladeshi (1,682 people or 12.1%)
- Indian (1,223 people or 8.8%)
- Nepalese (859 people or 6.2%)
In combination these five ancestries account for 8,497 responses in total, or 61.00% of all responses.
The major differences between the ancestries of the population in Minto and Eagle Vale were:
